Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is an upcoming romantic comedy anime that is set to release on July 3rd, 2024 in the Summer anime season.
Despite being its first season, the anime has already gathered a lot of hype with fans of the original light novel as well as those of the genre waiting for it excitedly.

Masachika is a nerdy student who sits near the gorgeous Alis, a half-Russian girl who is loved by everyone in her class. While he acts nonchalant with her, Alisa also tends to show him the most attention. Whenever wishing to convey her real feelings, she speaks in Russian to him. Unknown to her, however, Masachika can actually understand the language and simply pretends not to.
As the pair continue having this playful banter, their relationship gradually keeps growing while Alisa hopes to finally show her feelings to Masachika freely.

Based on the light novel that currently has over 7 volumes, the anime will be adapted by Studio Doga Kobo, which is most known for making the Oshi no Ko anime.
