As arguably the most popular delinquent anime ever made, everyone has been expecting more news regarding the future of Tokyo Revengers. To their joy, a recent confirmation has revealed that the next season of anime has officially been green-lit and also presented us with a devastating visual.
There has been no clarification on whether it will be a series or a movie yet, but looking at the past of the anime, we can expect it to be an episodic series with around 13 episodes.
While heading into the final arc of the series, fans will be hopeful that the studio will deliver a final product with great pacing and animation to maximize their viewing experience.
Tokyo Revengers Anime Story
Tokyo Revengers follows the life of Takemichi, a boy who gets the ability to time travel and uses it to go back to his past self with hopes of saving his ex-girlfriend, Hinata. Being weak himself, this is an extremely difficult task as he will have to survive through the life of a delinquent while facing off against extremely powerful groups.
The next season of Tokyo Revengers will start by adapting the Bonten Arc and head on to the Final Arc. This will majorly feature Mikey as he gives in to his dark impulses and becomes the leader of a criminal organization. Hoping to bring his friend back to his senses, Takemichi desperately tries to save him.
