Considered by many to be the best Isekai anime ever made, Re:Zero has managed to impress fans from all around the globe with its expansive world-building, memorable characters and gorgeous visuals. Nearly 4 years after the release of its second season, we are finally approaching the release of Re:Zero Season 3. Let us look at everything we know about this sequel.
Re:Zero Season 3 Release Date
Re:Zero Season 3 is currently scheduled to be released in October 2024 in the Fall season. The first episode is set to be 90 minutes long and will also be getting a Japanese theatrical release on August 30th, 2024.
Studio White Fox, also known for adapting Steins;Gate will be animating this season of Re:Zero as well.
What is the Story of Re:Zero Season 3?
The anime tells the tale of Subaru, an ordinary boy who is taken to a fantasy world and has the ability to return to the past after dying. After meeting Emilia, a candidate who could become ruler of the kingdom, however, his life is filled with tragedies and pain. Subaru will have to gather the power to survive all his hurdles while creating an ideal future for himself and his loved ones.
The 3rd season will continue this story by focusing on all the candidates of the Royal selection. With the villains from the Witch Cult returning and promising to create trouble, Subaru will have to ensure that all the opposing candidates work together to defeat the enemy.
