New Batman Anime Officially in the Works

The sequel to the 2018 anime movie, Ninja Batman, has a sequel that is currently under development as announced by Warner Bros. Japan. The sequel, titled “Ninja Batman vs Yakuza League” will continue the storyline of its predecessor and will be d by the studio Kamikaze Douga. 

While details such as the release date and duration of the movie have yet to be revealed, we expect information regarding these to be given out at the Anime Expo 2024 scheduled on July 4th, 2024.

With Suicide Squad Isekai which is set to release soon as well as this new Batman anime movie, it is clear that Warner Bros. is very interested in adapting DC characters in the anime form while introducing them to a whole new audience. This only makes us excited for what awaits in the future.

Ninja Batman Anime Story

Due to an evil invention called the Quake Engine, Batman is stunned when he finds himself transported to feudal Japan. Making matters worse, he soon finds that Arkham Asylum’s criminals were also transported here and rule as warlords.

Despite being in an unfamiliar setting with none of his usual apparel, Batman will still have to face off against all these villains as well as his arch-nemesis, The Joker, in order to restore peace and return back home.
