Tsukimichi – Moonlit Fantasy is undoubtedly one of the most underrated Isekai anime ever made and has captivated fans with its expansive world, fantasy setting and memorable characters. With 2 very fun seasons completed, everyone has been waiting for news regarding the sequel.
Much to the delight of fans, it was recently confirmed that Tsukimichi Season 3 has officially been greenlit and is in the works. While further details such as the anime studio and release date are yet to be revealed, we can expect the next season to be released in the first half of 2024 with J.C. Staff continuing to adapt the story.
Tsukimichi – Moonlit Fantasy Plot
The series follows a student named Makoto who is supposed to go to another world and become its hero. However, plans change when the goddess finds him hideous and throws him away to a corner of the world far from civilization. To everyone’s surprise, it is soon revealed that Makoto is extremely strong in reality, and he begins making his way across this new world while gathering allies from all kinds of species. On his path to meeting humans again, he also carries out the duties of a hero despite not being chosen.
Season 3 of Tsukimichi will continue featuring the political strife of this world as well as the battle against the demon army. It will also highlight the relationship that Makoto shares with Tomoe and Mio as the two girls aim to deepen their bond with our protagonist. Full of explosive action and enjoyable adventures, there is good reason to look forward to the upcoming season.
