Through a survey conducted by the Alpha Generation Lab in Japan, we were finally able to find out the most popular and beloved anime among Generation Alpha (Born between 2010 to 2024). Without any further ado, let us jump into the list.

5. Oshi no Ko (Studio: Doga Koba)

A former doctor’s life completely changes when he is reborn as the son of his favorite idol after an untimely death. Considered to be one of the best anime ever made, One Piece follows the life of Luffy, a young boy who travels the seas in order to become the Pirate King. Across his adventures, he forms a trusted crew and ends up facing powerful enemies as well as the entire world government.

With fantastic world-building and over 1000 episodes to enjoy and binge-watch, it is an extremely enjoyable anime for all ages.

In order to maintain world peace, the spy Twilight works in the shadows and completes dangerous missions. For his latest infiltration task, he needs to create a fake family. Unknown to him, however, his daughter Anya is an esper and his wife Yor is an assassin. Will this family of unorthodox individuals be able to last to achieve their own objectives?

Combining action, comedy and slice-of-life, this is the perfect anime for the younger kids of Gen Alpha as well as older ones who wish for a relaxing experience.

2. Detective Conan (Studio: TMS Entertainment)

As another anime known for its huge number of episodes, Detective Conan follows its protagonist – a high schooler who turns into a little boy due to a mysterious drug. Retaining his intelligence, he decides to hide his identity while stunning all those around him with deduction capabilities. While solving difficult cases and helping others, he also tries to find a cure for his condition.

1. Demon Slayer (Studio: Ufotable)

At the top of this list is Demon Slayer, which will not come as a surprise to many. The story is set around Tanjiro, a young boy who loses his entire family to demons and is left to protect only his younger sister, Nezuko. Since Nezuko becomes a demon herself, Tanjiro resolves himself to find a way to help her retain her sanity while becoming strong enough to avenge his fallen loved ones.

Stunning Animation, a likable cast and an exhilarating plot are just a few reasons that make Demon Slayer such a great anime. Due to this, it has consistently been among the most popular for various age groups and only keeps expanding its fanbase with time.
