Animetv_jp recently tweeted on x (formerly known as twitter) and confirmed that the first season of undead unluck is scheduled to air from October 6, 2023 along with a new trailer, visuals and cast details. Undead Unluck will make its debut on Oct 6, however the first two episodes will get a special treatment. On October 1, an event will be organised , giving viewers a sneak peek of the episodes along with casting talk, and the background details of the series. Here is the official trailer:
This season is produced by David Production, directed by Yuki Yase and music was composed by Kenichiro Suehiro. The anime is adapted from a Japanese manga with the same title, “Undead Unluck” which was written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It was serialised in January 2020 in Shueisha’s weekly shonen jump and eventually won the manga award in 2020. The manga is collected in 17 volumes till date and the number can increase after some time. Here is the cast of the anime series:
