Currently, Blue Lock Season 2 is confirmed to be releasing in October 2024 in the Fall anime season. Studio 8bit will continue adapting the anime and has also produced the spin-off movie, “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” which released on April 19th, 2024.
What is the Story of Blue Lock Season 2?
Blue Lock follows an ambitious project where 300 young footballers are gathered together in a facility to create Japan’s greatest striker through the principles of “Egoism”. Put through multiple challenges, the protagonist, Yoichi Isagi, will have to keep evolving and become a player who can completely dominate the game.
The second season of Blue Lock will take the obstacles to the next stage as the players of the project will have to face the Under-20 team of Japan for a chance to control the national representatives. However, with talented players with lots of experience playing on the other side, Isagi and his teammates have their work cut out for them.
